PHOENIX LOVE is a project founded in 2022 by vocalist and composer Dora Osterloh, emerging from long-standing artistic connections between the jazz scenes of Cologne and Berlin. Joined by Theresia Philipp (sax), Keisuke Matsuno (guitar), Simon Jermyn (bass), and Lukas Akintaya (drums), she brings together a lineup shaped by the desire to use her voice as an equal instrument within a high-energy band setting.

The debut album And All I Have to Give (Boomslang Records, 2026) grew out of a personal process of transformation and healing. Warm, earthy, and iridescent soundscapes merge song structures with free improvisation into an organic whole; short fragments between the pieces weave the album into a continuous flow. Thematically, the compositions revolve around self-acceptance, change, and the conscious choice of love over fear. The title—taken from the piece “Lay Your Head Down”—distills this attitude: love as the origin, and as what remains.
