Oli Steidle, recipient of the German Jazz Prize, is known from bands like Der Rote Bereich, Klima Kalima, or as the leader of The Killing Popes and SoKo Steidle. Steffi Narr, awarded the Kathrin Prize by the Jazzinstitut Darmstadt in 2025, explores the guitar as a malleable sound generator – letting it bite, nestle, and glide through a thicket of split seconds.
