The BEZAU BEATZ ORCHESTRA OF GOOD HOPE was born 2024 out of an idea of Leo Genovese and Alfred Vogel.
When Alfred had to face a deadly illness diagnosed on 22nd of January the two decided to set a goal to play with a cosmic family of improvisers at the Bezau Beatz Festival on 10th of August. Not knowing at that point if Alfred could make it, would be still alive or even hold a pair of drumsticks - having at least the hope to come together and celebrate music and life made sense.
It turned out in a good way finally.
„I think that this goal and the support of my loving family and friends helped me a lot to take the challenges of the therapy. While we were playing that night I felt relieved, and if I was running through a finishing line. Somebody told me that we were blowing away the tiniest particles of negativity in the air …“ says Alfred, „the whole audience was resonating with us on stage that night“.

Camila Nebbia, Sofia Salvo, Luís Vicente, Demian Cabaud, Pedro Melo Alves, João Pedro Brandão, Lucien Dubuis, Leo and Alfred set the stage on fire. Music is the healing force of the universe.

Now we release this music out into the world and we wish to set a sign of good hope to everyone who finds himself in struggle, desperation, fear, solitude, weakness, doubt ...
